Mr. WONG Shun Yiu

Mr Wong Shun Yiu is a deputizing senior occupational therapist at the Tai Po Hospital.
Besides having a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Occupational Therapy from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Mr. Wong also has a MSc in Biomedical Engineering in the Chinese University of Hong Kong which enables him to effectively address patients’ needs through adapting environments and creating assistive technology using the required engineering principles.

He has special interest in assistive technology and its application to patients with various conditions such as spinal cord injury, stroke, amputations, multiple fractures and other neurological or deteriorating conditions. He is currently working in the spinal cord injury centre of Tai Po Hospital where he specialises in faciliating community integration of his clients through the use of assistive technology.
